ATA & FITT launches their partnership to drive excellence in Trade Training in Africa

Africa Trade Academy(ATA) in collaboration with The Forum for International Trade Training(FITT) has launched their partnership training deal at Sun lodge Hotel in Accra on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Africa Trade Academy is a pan-African training organization with a mission to build capacity of Africa’s public and private sector to take advantage of national, regional, continental and global trade opportunities. Africa Trade Academy designs and delivers tailored and practical training that empowers businesses and governments officials who are strategic about trade in Africa as an engine of their economic development.

Africa Trade Academy’s mission is borne out of the belief that irrespective of the number of trade agreements signed by African countries, without the needed knowledge, understanding and skills, countries and businesses will not be able to take advantage of the laudable opportunities in those agreements.

Africa Trade Academy therefore exists to provide professional training to public and private sectors in Africa to boost their international business capacities and trade competitiveness.

Mr. Dode Seidu, the Chief Executive Officer of Africa Trade Academy(ATA) in an interview with the media stated, “The Africa Trade Academy and Forum for International Trade Training is a partnership program that is meant to deliver competencies, courses and programs that will build capacity of public and private sector in international trade,  it is to give confidential certification to people that will be involved in Global and International trade from Africa.

He added that the training cuts across all age groups and meant for all professional interested personalities in business who intends to go Global with their business.

Our training is a Global Scheme that includes the  African Continental Free Trade Area

AFCFTA initiative with the only difference that at Africa Trade Academy, we have special competence in intra-Africa trade topics including AFCFTA, therefore we are bringing the Global certification in international trade, adding the nauseas and the specific needs and capacities of intra-trade Africa”.
